Founded in 2000 in Abu Dhabi by Abdussamed Kari, our journey began with a humble aquarium shop under the name Aquarium Lives. What started as a small specialty store for aquatic pets has grown into a thriving pet retail business built on passion, care, and community. Today, we operate our retail division under SM Bros Group led by our Managing Director Abdussamed Kari and General Manager Ahammed Muneer Kari , proudly managing 40 stores across the GCC and India, including 28 stores in the UAE. Our flagship brand, Petcare, stands at the heart of our operations, complemented by our other well-established outlets: Aquarium Lives, Beauty Pets, and Animal World Oman. Together, we have evolved into a complete pet destination—offering everything from premium pet food and accessories to grooming services and aquatic care.
